32043 - 1/32 Junkers JU-87 Horizontal Tail Surfaces

Hasegawa's Junkers Ju-87 Stuka model kits are excellent representations of the real aircraft but are designed and cast without moveable control surfaces. World War Two aircraft utilized cable controls and, unless control locks were in place, gravity would cause the elevators to droop to the lowered positions. You will notice this phenomenon in photographs of the period. To replicate this realistic detail, it is necessary for the modeler to painstakingly separate the plastic control surfaces of the kit.
